On January 10, 2019, residents, business owners and other members of the Fairfield community gathered at A.D. Lewis Community Center for the first community meeting to be held as part of the Fairfield Innovation Plan. Attendees learned more about the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative (CNI), discussed assets and challenges in the community and shared their ideas for early action projects, which are short-term projects designed to get the ball rolling on some of the Plan’s larger initiatives. If you missed Community Meeting 1, catch up by viewing the Community Meeting 1 Presentation. Throughout the planning process, meeting presentations, reports and documents will be available for viewing and download on the Documents webpage.

Community Meeting 2 will be held in late February of 2019, with a specific date and time to be determined. Check back soon to mark your calendars. If you have any questions or comments in the meantime, feel free to reach out to us using our Comment form.
